The idea of a digital twin for telecom has seen a surge of interest in the last 18 months, but the idea is hardly new. In fact, as Francis Haysom argues in this research note, there are already many types of digital twin within today’s telcos. But understanding their distinct natures will give service providers a clearer view on how to leverage the power not of a single digital twin, but of multiple digital twins.
