AtlasEdge is a new name in a new market: edge data centers. These fill the gap between vast centralized data centers and purely private edge facilities, effectively becoming a neutral host for open RAN, or supporting a range of other enterprise-focused edge use cases.

Already well-funded and with sizeable infrastructure in place, this joint venture between Liberty Global and DigitalBridge provides more evidence of the fundamental change and new opportunities in the telecom market arising from cloud computing.
