Paris in springtime was a hard bar for this year’s Kubecon event in London (April 2025) to jump – but deliver it did. The average age of attendees remained a welcome change from events like MWC. 

This year’s event was notable for a much higher telecoms presence, with the author not having to explain a telco analyst’s presence at a non-telco developer event. Kubecon remains a great opportunity to step away from telecoms and catch up on an enterprise IT-focused event and how (or if) telco is engaging with this community and becoming more relevant to enterprise use cases with 5G technology, private mobile networks, network as a service, and APIs.
