The separation of Danish telco TDC into a NetCo (infrastructure) and ServCo (retail service provision) announced in 2019 has allowed two separate operating entities to assess their own strengths and weaknesses in terms of their distinct market opportunities – and reset investment plans accordingly.

In the case of TDC Net, this has kicked off a major IT transformation program led by Infosys. Now, Ciena’s Blue Planet has been selected as the inventory system at the centre of this transformation.
