FYUZ2023: Open RAN Goes Mainstream

Despite some progress, the pioneers in Open RAN have not yet been followed by a “second wave” of fresh converts; that was always going to be a slower and more complicated phase.

Yet on the evidence of FYUZ 2023, the Open community is at least acknowledging the challenges, and engaging a wider range of stakeholders and influential parties – not least from among the very companies that it once seemed to challenge.
