SDWAN management/orchestration profiles
We are pleased to announce that we are now delivering a series of related management/orchestration profiles, concentrating on how CSP’s and their orchestration suppliers are creating a new, on-demand “enterprise edge”. The first in a series looks at amdocs’ NFV SDWAN Package Offer. This is amdocs branding for their pre-built, pre-integrated orchestration-based management solution. Our second orchestration profile covers Ericsson’s Orchestration, a solution with similar goals and capabilities, but very different packaging and positioning. These offerings are intended to power new families of CSPs’ dynamic and virtualized services, beginning with SDWAN, because SDWAN represents an immediate commercial need and allows both amdocs and it’s customers to build for tomorrow in a real-life environment. We plan to follow-up with similar profiles covering offers from Netcracker and Nokia as well as other significant management offers that emerge.
We have found it interesting to look at real commercial deployments; which give a FAR better understanding of how CSPs’ intend to use virtualized technology than an ocean of POCs or technology trials. We encourage you all to look at this entire series and share in our journey of discovery.
